Equipping Hour Classes
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Adult Equipping Hour
We encourage our members to attend these classes and to invite others they are discipling. Visitors are welcome.
Kids Equipping Hour
Kids Equipping Hour classes are open to students in PreK through 6th grade. Students meet for a large group time where they discuss God’s Word and participate in fun activities. Participants then convene in age-appropriate small groups for further study.
Currently, CCBC Kids is utilizing The Gospel Story children’s curriculum by Marty Machowski. The text highlights the gospel of grace through the stories of God’s Word. It teaches Biblical doctrine and encourages Scripture memorization. Our hope is that these truths will build a framework of understanding for God’s Word and help shape our children’s worldview through the lens of scripture.
CCBC Kids meets in the church’s upstairs classrooms. Please note that a parent must be present at CCBC during Equipping Hour. Children of members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Pastoral Internship
CCBC’s pastoral internship was established to help men grow in their understanding of God’s word and to help train future shepherds of Christ’s church. CCBC’s desire is that interns will go on to be faithful church members, elders, pastors, and church planters both here locally and abroad.
During the internship, participants commit to an intensive study of Scripture that is further supported by the reading of approved texts and articles on various doctrinal subjects and church-related topics. Interns write and submit weekly papers that expound upon their assigned reading materials. Participants also engage in one-on-one discipleship with church staff and meet weekly to discuss their observations of the text.
The internship program seeks to give aspiring pastors and future church leaders a better understanding of what day-to-day regular ministerial life entails. This is accomplished by serving the church in numerous capacities. The process help interns to learn about the responsibilities of shepherding a congregation and provides opportunities for discussion with church elders and members.
