What We Believe
God’s work of salvation continues on in the believer’s sanctification and ensures the perseverance of believers to the end. Believers are united in the Church, which is made visible in local bodies of believers that faithfully preach God’s Word and administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. As Christians, we recognize God’s design in the family and our responsibility to the civil government. Our final hope looks toward the world to come which we pray will arrive soon.

Worship
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
The CCBC music team leads our congregation in songs rich in theology. These include a range of hymns dating back to the 1400s, as well as worship songs written in our lifetime. Our leaders are deliberate in choosing music that centers on Scriptural truths and helps prepare believers’ hearts to receive God’s Word. Sunday mornings generally consist of five or six congregational songs led by a three or four-person music team, accompanied by piano and guitar.
Song selections for the upcoming Sunday are shared with members in the week prior to service. We encourage individuals to meditate on God’s Word and the gospel truths contained within the songs, so that their hearts will overflow with truth and thankfulness back to Him. A compilation of songs used in CCBC worship service is available anytime through our online playlist.

Future Plans
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Our church seeks to be a good steward of all that the Lord has entrusted to us. We continue to seek first the kingdom of God one day at a time, trusting He will provide what we need, when we need it. We encourage our members and the community to pray for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of CCBC as we serve the Chaffee Crossing community and beyond.
